Losing water?

Featured Replies

Hi my 2014 VRS tdi started to lose water after a 60 mile drive but I can't see any leaks? I've taken it to the local garage and they've pressure tested it n still no leaks! The warning on the dash comes up and I have to top it up! Any one have any ideas what it could be? Waters not mixing with the oil I've checked!

Check the oil to see if it looks milky to rule out head gasket

Already checked oil n no water there!

Water pump?   That seems to be a common thing.  Mine loses water and needs a top up maybe every 2k.  It's due a cambelt in a few months so will get pump done then and see if it goes away.

And it only loses water if I drive it hard! If I drive normal it doesn't lose any! ??????

Mines doing the same. The pump and cam belt have been changed though!
