SKODA SUPERB 2008-2015 LOCKSET, ECU + TRANSPONDER petrol engine

Featured Replies

I need to purchase this part for my vehicle, if anyone has one available or can refer me to where i can get one. I would be very grateful, my car has been grounded because my brainbox is damaged and every brainbox i find is not programmed to my vehicle, so i need one that comes with the car keys too. PLEASE HELP

The immobiliser is coded to the engine and the keys so you can't just drop in a replacement and expect it to work. Either you buy new from a Skoda dealer and have them fit it and code it, or you try and find someone who can reset a used one and code it to your car.

thank you @chimaera for replying, I am aware of this details, I'd be very grateful, if anyone on here is a dealer and can sell me one for a good deal, or point me to where i can get one.

It would help for you to post your location.

I am in NIgeria right now and vehicle is in Nigeria, nonetheless, I can purchase from anywhere, recently moved from Birmingham, England; shipping over here would be needed or can ship to my house in England and i'd have it sent to me

No matter what part you buy, you will still need access to VAG diagnostics in your current location in order to install it, and I'm pretty sure on these cars it has to be done at a dealer so that they can connect to the factory to authorise the replacement part during coding.

You can buy one from Skoda but it'll be expensive and I'm not sure if it'll be pre-programmed to your car.

Ideally, you need to find a decent auto locksmith in Nigeria to match a replacement ECU to your car...

I spoke to an auto specialist that said if i can get the ECU, transponder and lock set. That's I'd be fine. I need who can help with where I can purchase. Perhaps salvage and accidented vehicle

The ECU from a diesel will not work on your petrol engine.

You need to find exactly what ECU your car uses and find one that matches...
