Check out the octavia MKIII forum for coding.

Most of the options you are able to do on the octavia can be done on your bear.

I enabled traffic sign recognition on my edition using OBD11

Thank you

I will check it out

Cheers

Is there anything else that can be coded using OBD 11??

once I get my Kodiaq I may look into getting a few bits switched on...

Just watched a video on YouTube this morning about this. I've just ordered a Kodiaq Edition and saw that I should be able to enable lane assist and high beam assist because I added the traffic sign option.

No such features on my current Superb, but I might order a dongle anyway in preparation.

Install the app on your phone and choose the Kodiaq. All the canned changes are listed as well as guidance to code yourself. Bear in mind you need various hardware present to achieve some of these.

Thanks for the tip.

I've no idea about exactly what OBD11 can do, but this is a Google-translated list of what may be possible to achieve using VCDS, according to this Austrian website: https://www.cargrade.at/codierungsliste-skoda-kodiaq-ns/

Not sure about Lane Assist, as you would need to have the rear radars fitted. I wouldn't bother with high beam assist, it's rubbish IMO, and I've switched it off after being fed up of dazzling other drivers.

EDIT: Of course there are multiple parts to lane assist, I forgot. So Lane holding assistant (or lane departure warning) should be fine, but lane change assistant won't without those radars.

It’s a bit hit and miss - it works really well on fairly straight A-roads, but on narrow twisty B-roads it doesn’t sense drivers coming round bends all that well because their lights are not straight ahead, and it also then doesn’t put the high beams back on if you’ve slowed down to pass another car until you’ve sped back up to the activation speed (about 37mph). I don’t think I’d pay for it as an optional extra, but if you can enable it for free* then why not?

Lane Assist is purely the “keeping you in the lane you’re in” thing. The other system you mention there is the Blind Spot system, which as you say requires the rear radars, but also has the warning lights in the side mirrors.
