G85 steering angle sensor calibration

Featured Replies

Hi,

does anyone know if by adjusting/calibrating G85 steering angle sensor via the 03 ABS controller  (for ABS issues)  if this affects also other modules' current adjustments that use the same sensor like Xenon range controller, Steering assist controler etc?

Or for each of them G85 calib has have to be performed in each respective module ?

thanks

Pretty sure you just need to do it once :)

At least that's been the case for me...

What you mean? No need entering the other modules and start calibrating G85 in those too as not bothered their calibs?

Thanks,

I think i did not  perform  (or well enough..)  the Steering Limit stop Adaptation after G85 finished, but once i got the MIL  (amber colour) for steering on the dash after calibrating G85  (and also  "ESP fault"  indicating in the maxidot display with MIL symbol lighted)  at that time i did one turn to the right - resumed back wheel to straight - then one turn to the left and then the MIL for steering and message  "ESP fault"  with MIL ASR/ESP  in the maxidot were gone.

I didnot do as exactly describes in the R-T steering assist manual    (fully turned FIRST to left - hold for 10 secs then fully to the right etc.etc...)

Should i assume the Steering Limit Stop Adaptation has been done correctly?

Additionally, no any fault codes exist currently in any module after finishing all procedures.

let have your thoughts.
