Pure Pleasure

Sometimes you spend so long talking about your car that you forget why you got it in the first place. This weekend Mrs C and I wandered over to France for a couple of days. The car was faultless all the way. Some nice mooching down empty French motorways, a quick nip down some brilliant (and empty) back roads, then a night at a hotel, and a trip to the wine warehouse. 170 bottles, plus 30 litres in boxes, and we set off home. The car pulled it's heavy load without complaining, and still managed 33mpg all the way home -and we weren't hanging around!

By the way, if anyone's thinking of crossing the channel for booze buying purposes, give me a shout. I can suggest a few ports of call....
