@lol-lol Under £39,000 even.  So £38.995 maybe.

They have their friendly motoring journalists and blogger / vlogger / floggers spining the £800 less than a similar spec Mk8 VW Golf.

So they might just be overpriced as well.

The key is similar spec.

But unfortunately most people will look at the Golf that starts at £20k

While ID3 costs close to £40k.

VW might eventually and have their family size EV at around or under the 20,000 euro or is it GBP figure they spun.   Doubt it very much though.

Pity the can not really get the City / small family size VW e-Up! available at that without Government Grants assisting them.

Only 300bhp for the R version?

With electric motors, you won't need massive engine to achieve those power, just a very good battery management system and software....... oh wait.

Totally not into that Trim Foil on the C panel.

Likely total rubbish when polishing and waxing, much like the indents on the front to have it fly like a 'Golf ball'.

Or what ever VW designed it to do deflecting air smoothly from the frontal area, while not holding freezing slush to the front of the car.  We will see.

My local VW have one.  First one I've seen in the tin.  I quite like 'em:

The UK spec is quite lacking on them at the moment though.

A review of charging speed from zero (almost) to 100% compared to some competitors.

It looks very much like the Software Issues that had VW delaying the delivery of the ID3's was just a bit beyond them actually fixing so they said

'that will do, get the cars punted and eventually we can get things right vorsprung durch technik, why change a habit of several lifetimes!'.

Hopefully Skoda will only release the Enyaq when fully sorted having learned for the VW mistakes.
