I think pushing the 181bhp Vrs diesel upto 285bhp is a bit optimistic considering my petrol 2017 Vrs245 went from 248bhp to 336bhp with full stage 2 hardware costing £3,000. I have an Airtec intercooler which will fit the Mk3 Octavia and works well keeping engine temps down even on a track.:nerd:

You do know that it has a water-intercooler integrated to the inlet manifold, don't you?

So with a front mount intercooler you will need a custom inlet manifold and quite a lot of work with cooling pipes and EGR valve.
