I've just fitted one to my baby (Christmas gift) and it looks and feels so much nicer than the original. Plus it's leather and it lights up. What else could you ask for?

I've had one, I did remove it for personal preference, I didn't like the fact the gear knob itself actually sits higher than the standard, it also never fitted correctly as it was to wide at the base so popped out

Interesting points. I've noticed that the plastic surround doesn't click in as solidly as the old one, but it's not caused me any issues.
