I'm possibly going to be changing my car in the next few months and a used Octy TDI DSG estate might be in the running. I had forgotten about the VW Group emissions scandal. Were any Briskodian's Skoda TDI's affected, and if so, how serious were the problems and were they expensive to fix?

Didn't the affected engines just require remaps? 

My Octy Mark II TDi 2.0 2012 was on the affected list. Was offered a free optional 'retune'. Not really a problem for me to be honest.  

Are you looking at MK3 Octavias, presumably you are if posting in this section? As far as I know they were not affected by Dieselgate, it's the older EA189 engines that are.
