~80k Octavia elegance vs 120k Superb se

Hi I own a Skoda fabia 1.2 petrol 2007 with about 90k miles on the clock and thinking on moving to something bigger as we travel quite a bit and roof box is not enought. My options are eather the octavia estate with 80k on the clock or suberb hatch/estate but bigger miles. Since fabia is the onyl car I owned and apart from wear and tear we had no big problems what do I need to worry about buying any of these considering they have full service history. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. My budges is not very big about 6k is it doable or I'm thinking to much?

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

Hi, sorry if this topic has been posted a number of times, but I have a query about timing belt intervals on a 2019 Octavia estate SE L TDI 150 AUTO. It has just been in for its MOT and service, and I also asked them to have a look at the timing belt. I'm sure I read somewhere that the interval was 100k miles, and as mine has now done 91k, it would need doing in the not too distant future. However, although they gave me a quote (£750 for timing belt and water pump), they told me the interval is

We bought our Scala Monte Carlo Edition 1.5 tsi back in December and from late January it has had both mechanical problems and electronic gremlins. The mechanical problem have mostly been sorted, new rear discs and pads that were making noises like a wheel bearing was rumbling, the gearbox has had a software update and a reset (it's still not perfect). Is there an option to code the mode select option to pre-FL Octavia MK4 with 1.5 TSI engine? There isn't a button, obviously, since the equipment wasn't selected at purchase. However, AFAIK, you can select and customize the driving mode through the infotainment as well. Also, does the mode selection actually bring any noticeable effect on the engine responsiveness and steering feel? Thanks!
