Byte code for 2013 mk2 vrs octavia

Featured Replies

Hi could anybody shed a bit of light on the byte code I need to reprogram a BCM.everythings good apart from my rear lights are on but my side lights and DRLs have gone off.

Thanks in advance.

Typically speaking, there isn't a correct byte 18 code for a UK vRS which is why it's set to 00 from factory.

You need to find someone with VCP or ODIS-e who can reprogram the lighting config to the original settings. Unfortunately, this is not something VCDS can do.

All sorted now dead easy to do.

So did you find somebody with VCP or ODIS-e or have you found another method?
