central locking problem

Featured Replies

hi all,

can anyone shed, any light on a central locking problem i have with my octavia blueline, it has just started to lock and unlock all by its self. it's with the dealer at the moment who have just returned from a test drive with it !!

they say there computer has found a fault with the rear lock, but they have cleared it by opening and shutting it, although they want to keep hold of it a bit longer just in case it starts to play up again.

is this normal practise for a skoda dealer:confused:

cheers in advance

Sounds like they want to check it over.

Personally id have a look att he multi plug on the n/s/r wheel arch (inside). The washer pipe for the rear window runs past and it has been known for them to leak and run into the plug. The wiring runs through to the tailgate switch from there and creates merry hell with the CDL.
