Hi, I fitted LED reversing light bulbs with no error but an error light appears and a message to check reversing light bulbs.

Is anybody in Paisley or Glasgow area able to help me get rid of this message and error light.

I think you will find that the LED lights need to be Canbus type to show no errors or have a resistor fitted.

the bulbs are canbus type no error but still show an error

Do you have a link to the bulbs you're using?

 

If they are truly CAN-Bus friendly you shouldn't be experiencing issues.

 

The Superb is very finicky when it comes to bulbs, so if they're cheap Chinese bulbs, even though they're advertised as CAN-Bus friendly, they can still result in the blown-bulb warning light appearing.

be grateful for any help as I an afraid my car may fail an MOT with the error showing but I am checking this with the government department for MOT
