Hey GUys, been ages since in've posted on here, new baby etc, buti'e been keeping an eye on the forums.

 

I want to install a dashcam on the vRS but know from prior experience about he interference with DAB. I want to hardwire it behind the fuse box, but I'm bettering the passenger A Pillar is where the antenna cable runs from the roof to the HU. Can anyone confirm this?

Can anyone also confirm if the Sharkfin on the FL 3 is in fact the FM/AM?DAB antenna and it doesn't still use the silly heated elements idea?!

The AM/FM & DAB antennas are in the glass and  not in the Sharkfin antenna - on a SE L with standard Amundsen unit, the Sharkfin only has a GPS antenna inside.

Thanks for the info. Well that's rubbish. basically any camera will ruin the signal because Skoda CBA to put a proper antenna in! 

I have a hardwired dash cam that runs up the passenger side pillar with no issues.

 

Are you referring to fitting a rear facing camera?

Yeah, As far I can see a rear facing one is more important than a front facing one.
