Provided boot nets for 7 seater

Featured Replies

So I was given a bag of boot nets for my 7 seat kodiaq.  They are all different sizes and  unlike the ones on my octavia not all have "hooks" for them to connect to the lashing points.  Speaking of lashing points they are also not immediately obvious where each of these should hook to either!

Any pictures of how you have setup your nets?  Ideally I just want one to cover over the floor, one of the nets seems to be well suited to this with a split where I would expect to unhook when using the thrid row of seats but I have no idea where they are supposed to hook to!

I have 3 nets that came with my Octavia, 2 rectangular of the same size and one smaller, I have no idea where they are supposed to fit, if I can piggy back onto this thread then I have the same question, any pictures please?

The nets are show near the end of this video..

Does it not state in the handbook how and where they go?

Then again the handbook that was supplied with my vehicle doesn't list the engine that is fitted to my vehicle.

From the owners manual

For the Octavia I found the large one fitted across the boot floor to each of the 6 ground level lash points. (I had  the standard boot)

the 2 other ones I just hooked to each side to hold things against the side of the boot.

Cheers

the nets defiant aren’t as useful as the Octavia ones (I’m glad I didn’t spend actual money on them as they were included)

i would prefer a “b” net to cover the floor when I need to lash things from rolling around but as it’s the 7 seater with the higher floor none of the hooks are actually accessible. The D net is also a bit of a joke. Why not just have a partition on the side rather than a net which really won’t hold anything?

again as the plastic hooks in the boot only tie against fabric type pulls on the nets they won’t hold very well and keep pinging off.

Not it really worth the hassle, a pity as I keep coming back to them being so much more useful in the Octavia

Have you actually tried using it yet? The net holds pretty much anything I put in there, and whilst a partition could be useful, a net you can or not have is a lot more flexible. Also, you have to be able to lift the flap up that forms the base of that cubby when you’re stowing the load cover to use the third row of seats, so I’m not sure anything more rigid or permanent is actually viable.
