chech bulbs

Featured Replies

Hello! Today I've tried to cahnge some bulbs to my skoda with canbus led, when i ghanged the bulbs with led's my check bulb light came up in dashboard. I've put back the old ones but the warning  light does not coming off, all lamps are working and they are not led's. How the warning light resets? And also what type of can bus is suitable for the car? (skoda fabia II 2011) thanks.

Once you have set off the check bulb light, it will need turning off again. More info would help but did you do lots at the same time? The best bet is to just do one, then another, etc. This way, the difference is limited. The car may not then think a bulb has failed. The canbus bulbs should still have worked but you may still be able to fit them, then get the warning light stopped. Try taking off the battery's earth lead for ten mins and then see if the warning is still there. If it is, a trip to the dealer or someone who has a code removing tool should be able to do it for you.

thank you

Carista / torque pro, through OBD2 reader will remove faults only if original bulbs re-fitted, then play around new bulbs 1 at a time, Boot & glove light needs fuse removing or its a trip to Halfords in the dark!
