Hi all. New fabia MkII VRS s2000 owner

Featured Replies

Yeah just bought a 2011 Fabia VRS S2000 which is one of the 20 of 200 ever made in 2010. And very impressed. It has all the VRS traits and is certainly in a skin that is surely a disguise for what lies underneath it! Well impressed

Welcome to the forum.

It is a Mk2 vRS.   Who told you it was a S2000?

Was your car resprayed and fitted with Black pack lights?

S2000 were all Green with Skoda Decals, a white roof and White Gigaro Alloys.   I have never seen or known of any S2000 that were in any other colour.

They got some standard parts like an arm rest that were usually an option.

I bought the car on autotrader and it shows its a s2000. It also suggests S-A in the V5 and the black colour. I am new to Skoda and this is my first ever. I am hoping to learn a lot more about it here!

Hello Fredi welcome along to the Skoda forum good to have you with us, nice motor .B)

S-A is Semi Automatic, so the DSG.

Lots have been advertised as vRS / S2000 over the years and those selling them have no idea.

It is a lot nicer for not being a S2000.

Have fun.

Thanks! And if you look closely on the n/s front bumper it has a briskoda website sticker. So maybe this car was once a members car. Thats how I came to know of this site

I wondered if it was owned when new by an old friend of mine from the forum, Jabozuma.

EDIT,

just checked and not his, it was new in November 2012 but was just the same as yours but with the CTHE engine.

Maybe we can discover if it ever loved in those fancy rally stickers before it had a paint job? Can anyone tell why the V5 has a S-A printed infront of the model? When I was checking the cars on autotrader with registrations none other showed as a s2000? Any light on this would be appreciated

S-A is just the Semi Automatic.

Several S2000 were owned by Members here.

There is one for sale just now but the stickers were removed years ago.  Another members wife has one with just the front decal left on.

Others had the wheels changed from white.

There were more than 20 in the UK because some Dealers Stickered up green vRS.

None do show as a S2000,  a S2000 is a 4x4 Fabia Mk2 Rally car,  the 2011 special edition is a s2000,  small 's'.  Just stickered up vRS with some extras as standard.

There is a member in Qatar that has a S2000 copy. Wide Arches etc but just a vRS built by Skoda for shows & a Rally S2000 Look-a-like in white.

(Skoda UK have a Look-a-Like with a 1.2 3 Cylinder engine. The red vRS next to it was mine and one of the first in the UK.)
