More info about BCM versions

I bought my mk2 octavia as a used midline 2009 vehicle. The car has fog lights and bi-xenon D1S headlights. I see the car has BCM 1K0 937 084, and I think this is causing confusion in the system. I wonder if a replacement of BCM 1K0 937 087 will solve the problem and get my car options to work properly. Please let me know if I need a certain BCM version with letters because I see many versions (A, B, C, D, E, .....) and I am unsure if there is any difference.
