    Coming to the air quality sensor retrofit, I see that pin 20 in the T20e connector provides permanent current. I think the sensor requires to function subkey so I merged it to the voltage supply at the headlight assist module connector. I now wonder if I did the right thing or I need to connect the sensor to a permanent voltage supply.

    I am in the middle of retrofitting an air quality sensor in my Octavia FL and I wonder if you can support me with the wiring diagram. I see that pins 19 and 20 are already occupied. So, do I need to merge or replace wires?

      Yes, I do have the FL octavia and the pins 19 & 20 are occupied but pin 4 still unused. The T20 connector is the only one of a kind as the other two plugs have 16 pins only. I will check under wiper bonnet to make sure I don't have one.

      I have checked under the passenger's wiper bonnet and I didn't see the sensor. I've also unplugged the pins 19 and 20 of the T20 connector and the whole climatronic unit went off. Fuse number 17 was blown while I was trying to release the ground pin 19. Pin 4, on the other hand, is unused. Any suggestions?

      I'm sorry it's years since I did this and the car is long gone. All I can suggest is to try and trace the wires. It doesnt sound to me like it's the same unit I had.

    Thank you for this effort. I am planning to retrofit the air quality sensor in my FL Octavia .I actually see that the T20 black connector is labelled (A) not (C) and the pins 19 & 20 are already occupied by something else. So, I wonder if I need to cut and replace those wires or merge them together with the Air Quality Sensor wires. Best!

    Hi, First, I would like to thank you guys for keeping me in. My Octavia FL has the ordinary rear view mirror and I want to install the one with auto-dimming option and RLS. I almost bought everything except wiring harness and connectors. I wonder where I can find the wiring diagram for both harnesses I will need. Thank you!

    Hi guys, I installed a maxidot (1Z0 920 843 F) in my Octavia II FL, which has a gateway version (1K0 907 530 S). The new cluster works fine so far. I wonder if I can unlock more features by updating the gateway to 7N0 series (7N0907530 P). What benefits I will get from this new gateway? Thank you guys for being cooperative and helpful!

    Thanks for the details, but I still can't understand the ESP switch part. So, you want me to cut and merge those three wires (2 grounds and illumination) to the parallel wires of ESP switch or what?

    I actually don't know how to connect those three wires of the button to the ESP switch. Any ideas?

    Hi guys, I am almost done installing front OPS to my octavia FL. I connected the parktronic button to the control module, but I dunno where to connect the illumination line and the two grounds of the button. I also wonder where to hock the buzzer? Thanks!

    Hi folks, I am planning to retrofit a front OPS to my Skoda Octavia MK2 FL and I got everything already. I wonder where to install the wiring harness and how to extent it to the cabin and the trunk. Is there any pre-made passages or holes that allow me to run the wires through?

    Hi, I know it's been ten years already. I about to retrofit front parking sensors to my Skoda Octavia mk2 FL and I wonder if you can walk me through the wiring procedures as I dunno what wiring is required. I got the 8K control, front bumper with 4X sensors installed, parking button and connectors. Thanks! Osama
