hello all!

Featured Replies

hey guys,

have been bowsing the forums for a few weeks now, in the run up to buying a fabia vRS!

the message saying 'why not start with your first post today' finally got to me, so hello!

;)

purchase is still about 2 months away, having tried for about 10 days to beat admiral's insurance quote (23 and 0 NCB!) and the best i can get still depends on me being 24 for some reason so have to hang on until after 23rd April but the deposit is now pretty much ready to go - will most likely be getting an ex demo unless a long lost relative suddenly dies and leaves me a share of their estate!!

got loads of really handy advice so far just from browsing, and i'm sure it will continue.

Cheers!

Rob

hi. and welcome. hope your able 2 get a better quote. :D

Hi Rob :wavey:

Happy browsing and good luck with the insurance :)

PS If you come across that long lost relative, Ferrari's can't light a candle to Skodas ;)

Howdy Rob, and welcome

confused.com seems to be the best insurance search for young drivers.

Welcome. Hope you can fid the right quote.

i got my inurance from confused.com. used it about 10 times over a couple of months. finally my best quote including quotes from insurers not on confused.com(tesco \ sainsbury's etc) swiftcover was the best. it proved easy to buy online and print the certificate off they email you and your done in 5 mins.

im 22 3yrs NCB £644 but crikey £400 excess!!

always check the excess. try and get all quotes with the same excess and benefits (Personal injury/legal fees/replacement car) to make it a fair comparison. do that and you will get the best deal.

each insurer caters for different people. swift cover was best forme but may not be for you as you dont have NCB. admiral for me was not the best but for you may be.

good luck and good choice in car!
