The joys of motoring.

I have already been moaned at that this car is costing too much money....beast mode drank through half a tank of petrol since saturday evening eeek

I've heard worse. People with potent cars on track days who have to go out for fuel at lunchtime.

Been out and measured the tyre depths this morning.....

The pilot sports are all on 7mm and the potenza is on 4mm.

Given that new tyres are 8mm i am going to purchase a new pilot sport 4 to replace the potenza

At that much difference I'd swap it and try your luck selling the Bridgestone on eBay .... someone might buy it.

I have matching tyres all round, it's not about handling though, wet braking can be effected too.

Had my mismatched tyre replaced today [driver side rear] for a new ps4 and the guy who done my tyre said he pumped all the tyres to "eco" pressure [40psi].....within a couple of hours my tyre pressure warning light came on for the driver side front tyre. Went to garage and it was 2 psi lower than the other 3.

Im guessing the guy didnt inflate all the tyres to equal pressure and has been picked up by the sensor rather than an actual tyre pressure loss.

One things for certain, I LOVE my new car! VRS convert

Did you do a reset so the car knew the new pressures? I'd be surprised if it noticed a 2 psi drop....

No i didnt to be fair.....only 1 tyre came up and low pressure though.

Pressures have been reset now

My TPMS picked up a 2psi difference after a tyre place did not ask me the required pressure. Within 1/2 mile iirc.
