Stream MP3 display stuck on phone!!

Featured Replies

Hi All

Hope someone of you can help me. Recently the stream display on my 2006 Octavia has gone into phone mode and nothing I press on the unit makes a difference. So cannot play radio nor does the centre display show the functions being used (heating rear sensors etc.)

I tried removing the fuse few times but it is still stuck on phone. I have never used the phone function ever and only bought the car second hand last year.

Any help would be truly appreciated.

thanks

San

I am not familiar with the Stream but my experience with the Bolero may help.

On my car removing the radio fuse in the cabin fuse holder  will not reset the radio. There is another radio fuse in the fuse box next to the battery. Removing this for a few seconds always resets the radio when it gets stuck. Alternatively, disconnect the battery briefly but you will have to reset the clock and will loose trip data etc.

Location of the under bonnet radio fuse is shown in the handbook but if you don't have one, you can download it from the sticky link above.
