Roof rack

Featured Replies

Reet.

Looking for a decent roof rack for a 13 plate fabia. No bars on the top, just the threaded holes above the doors.

Any recommendations? What have people found the best/worst?

Whats the crack with the rubber gaskets letting in water? All true or just hear say?

Any help appreciated.

For me, any vehicle that does not have gutters, like fabia means the best option is the factory bars, "assuming" you mean that, or are you after a full rack ?

Any of the bars with the foot kit that fits & with the pins that fit in the holes on a Mk2 Fabia are fine. (As long as not some hooky fake BS / EU marked type.)

Plenty have used them for carrying Kayaks / Canoes etc.

The top door rubber can leak without the Roof Bars fitted.  Treat the rubber seal  and make sure you or passengers do not lean on them when leaning or holding a door open.

You can put a Roof Rack / Basket on the bars.

The sell them in Screw Fix or the likes for Vans / Estates / 4x4's.

Various threads in this section if you do a search.  vRS, Monte Carlo or just Fabia roof rack or bars.

Yeah, that’s what I mean. The factory fitted ones that run straight with the vehicle aren’t on.

They would be the best option but unfortunately isn’t one with this car. Therefore a full rack is required.

Cheers for the help. Will give them a look.
