Heated Rear seats

Featured Replies

While folding the rear seats to carry some large items I noticed that the seats seemed fully wired for electric heating.  No switches on the central console to switch them on though.  Perhaps easier to install all seats electric than fit two different types?

Likewise I also have a dimming rear view mirror and automatic windscreen wipers but no auto headlamp dipping. As the car was pre registered by the dealer I have no knowledge of what was specified.

Skoda ran short of rear seats for the Karoq. Maybe you got lucky and they just had to use what they had available to get some of the cars on their way?

A wiring loom and a switch with a quick bit of coding might let you finish the upgrade.....

Are you sure it’s not the wiring for the seat occupied and seat belt warning?

I believe if the sensor at the top centre of the windscreen is triangular, then other functions can be coded ie TSR and light Assist.

There is wiring for seat occupied/no seat belt as described above. I doubt your seats will be wired for heating.

Many thanks. you are both no doubt correct.

After my old Octavia all the bells and whistles on the Karoq are taking a while to get used to. I like it though as no kangarooing so far.
