2019 Fabia SE mpi

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Picking up a new Fabia SE in a couple of weeks (apparently), currently sat at the Docks in Germany...

Before I pick it up from the dealers, are there any settings that are available to me that the dealer can set up? We have also a 2012 elegance estate and I renember the drive away locking, needle sweep etc could be activated, the car has front fogs... do they have a turning feature, like my mums New Ibiza has?

Its a second car, very impressed with the build, every review you read goes on about scratchy plastics, but tbh I dont think it feels low rent, its a well made, fine little motor.

Also, smartlink, where is best to get decent data cable for Android at a reasonable price?

Thanks in advance,

Much appreciated

Tom

I use a cable off Wish, but they're not the most reliable things in the world, I think I've just been lucky. Anker cables on Amazon are very good though.

I believe that the front fogs can be set up as cornering lights, but I'm not entirely sure- my car is a pre-facelift SE and as such doesn't have them. I activated needle sweep with Carista.

I use the cable that came with my phone in the car, and a cheap USB-C cable at home for charging. Works very well for me!

I second this recommendation. For 3rd party phone accessories I’ve never had any issues with them (screen protectors, cables, cases etc).
