Amundsen sat nav

Featured Replies

I've recently purchased a 2nd hand fabia vrs and bought an Amundsen 310 sat nav (that has come from an Octavia) from eBay. Radio and aux working fine but when I insert a skoda sat nav card after a brief moment of reading the SD card I get a 'please insert a medium with sat nav data.

After a bit of reading it looks like the Octavia's sat nav SD card goes in a different slot (in the glove box, that the fabia does not have)

Is there any other way I can get the nav working?

Thanks in advance!

You need the correct card for the unit......theres soooooooo many out there......been looking to update mine, still not sure which is best and more importantly which will work

Is the SD car your trying genuine ? or a copy ?

I think the cars is genuine but is from eBay so cannot be sure! I've ordered another one so let's see!

The maps can be loaded onto the hard drive in the unit, have you tried the nav ? I use the SD card slot for music.

im sure even on this year of octavia's the card slot is still on the actual nav unit its self? it was only the mk3 that was different same with the current mk3 fabia the sd card slot is in the glove box.

How would I go about doing that? I cant see any other input other than the MDI under the glove box

Does it not have an SD card slot on the front next to left hand buttons ?
