Karoq Scout 2.0 TDI DSG 4x4

Is the 4x4 selectable or permanent on the Scout

It's permanent. The system is constantly monitoring the feedback from various sensors and intervenes by directing up to 50% of torque to the rear wheels whenever that helps.

This link from a Swiss 4x4 magazine may help explain how the Skoda all-wheel drive system operates:                                                                                                                                                  (Google - rt-click - translate - enjoy)
