Hi all. I've seen only a few mentions of owners getting roof bars on Rapid Spaceback, especially with a sun roof, so I thought to share my experience. I've got the Thule aerobars 969 125 cm, Thule rapid kit 754 and Thule fixing kit 1754 and they work like a charm. Fitting them on the car was really easy (a lot of instructions on a simple Google search), only took about 20 minutes. Today was the first day I tested them, coupled with 2 bike racks from Thule (Freride 532) . Everything available on Amazon at better prices than Thule's own site. 

Nice one. I have the same bike racks as you, but went for the genuine Skoda-branded roof bars (which are made for VW by Thule anyway as I got a good deal on them - dealer open box special.
