Tapping in to electrics.......

Featured Replies

I have an idea to fit my used six disc cd changer to the Citigo in the boot  (yes I'm an old guy......) that plays back via FM radio.

On previous cars ,I have fitted a piggyback fuse holder in the fuse box for ignition,or permanent live feeds.

Any easier way to gain a feed ,say from rear of 12v aux/fag lighter???

If your Citigo has a SD card slot you can fit 100’s of CD’s on 1 card saving all them CD cases lying around in the car. :D

Doubt a Citigo SE has any 12v outlet in boot area, pretty sure swmbo’s SE doesn’t have a 12v socket out the back, may have to run a feed through to the front fuse panel.

A lot of hassle to transfer all cd's onto sd card, when less time is needed to fit a player........

Do it once, you've got them as digital files forever. In a few years, new cars won't have CD players, so you'll have to do it sooner or later.
