Disabling alarm

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if it's possible to permanently disable the alarm?

I think that the sounder, complete with its backup battery, lives below the water deflector in front of the windscreen, so your plan could be to unbolt it then unplug it and remove it completely from the car.

Thanks for that, I was hoping it would be relatively straightforward :)

Would it be possible to just remove the fuse(s)?

I don't see why not? will look into this.

The fuse assigned to the alarm is (in the owners manual) the 'Anti-theft alarm system' .

This may knock out more than just the audio alarm?
