Whistling noise

Featured Replies

Good afternoon everyone.

New to this forum as of today new.

My wife has a Skoda Citigo anf for about a month now her care is making a whistling noise. The noise comes from the rear. Starting 30km/h, around 20 miles she starts whistling.

It has nothing to do with the engine revolutions. Regardless of the rpm the noise is there. Once below 30 it goes away.

Any ideas?

Good morning,

Quite a few views but no reply. Does that mean that it's a first. No one ever had this whistling noise before ?

Still looking for some help, thanks

If it's road speed related check the boot/door seals.

Clean them and spray some silicone lube on them to seal out the wind noise.

To rule out a raspy silencer, coast downhill on minimum throttle and see if the problem persists.

Good luck.

Is the noise only present when your wife is with you in the car? 😁

(sorry, really bad humor - could not help myself).
