oil cooler

Featured Replies

Ive got a skoda octavia 05 fsi estate its my work horse which im trying to make last,

Ok so after a garage visit and mot due soon it has come back with a shopping list of parts which ive sourced, but my question to anyone that can help is that its got an oil leak from the oil cooler which im told is a front end removal just to access the part which im not really sure if it is.

Ive been given a price for this fitting along with quite a few other parts but i dont want the garage pulling the wool over my eyes and quoting for a labour intensive job which it might not be. Is this something anyone has done or knows about.

What are they charging you? Not the biggest job to be honest, front end disassembly and probably oil change.

So with the other bits which are new rear pads, new cv boot, rear wheel bearing, rear bushes,  new oil cooler at £450 which i dont think is too bad really.
