So, exactly what is the fuel tank capacity?

 

The handbook is somewhat vague, ‘around 50 litres”.....does the 50 include the reserve 6 litres, or is that additional?

 

I’m pretty sure most nominated tank capacities include any reserve figure.

 

So 50 max.

 

You’ll soon find out when you run it almost empty then fill up.

Run mine to very low...I have the digital dash and the light went from red to flashing red with range showing 5 miles left. 

 

Filled up with 46.8 litres.

 

Mine is a 1.5 TSI 2 wheel drive.
