How do you do this up does it twist lòck or is there a çlìp that goes into it.thanks

The steel bit?

 

There's a wire piece that sits around the intercooler pipe.  You push the steel bit in and the wire grabs those nubbins that are sticking out.  If the nubbins or wire are a bit worn then it will blow off under boost.  That O-ring can leak too if it's a bit old.
