I bought that skoda 2010 with 70000 miles, I was not familiar with the noise of that engine, I knew that its a bit more noisy but after I compared the noise of the same model I found it weird... If anyone had the same issue and knows what it is that would be very helpful. Thank you. Link of the engine running 

 

 

Bearings on the alternator perhaps?

Could be the water pump which on this engine, I think is external and driven off the aux belt, located toward the back/top. Listen to that.

Needs stethoscope to pinpoint where it is.  Sounds like a bearing.  maybe the idler pulley or alternator...

Good luck with trying to put a stethoscope on the idler pulley, I suggest you call for the ambulance before you attempt it.

Why?  You've seen a mechanics stethoscope haven't you? 

This is a task I've done in safety dozens of times.  How else would you suggest you pinpoint a bearing noise?
