Hi There

 

I have just bought a wireless charging cradle that sits on top of the dash board, I want to route the cable for the cradle through the air vents and out through the bottom tray (below the heater controls) so i can plug it in to the USB port.  Has this been done before?  Are there any instructions available to do this?

It'd be easier to to route it under the carpet and up under the rubber door seal to the A pillar and attach it to the windscreen, I did it like that on my old car. 

i routed it down through the speaker grill in the middle of the dash, i dont like sticking to the window as the heat tends to make the sucker peel off, i found the best position for me with the least obstruction was in the middle.

 

it also is the shortest run to the USB and theres loads of space behind the dash, my magnetic wireless charger sits on the plate you can see in the pic.

you can buy a charger that fits in the tray under the usb? have you thought about that or do you need eyes on your phone?
