Hi all,

 

Just picked up my first Skoda today (have had several VW's), a nice shinny red Octavia MKIII VRS

 

 

230/245 or diesel? Manual or DSG we need to know? Welcome to the forum.

Yeah should have realised by the gloss black foglight surrounds on the front bumper. Also just saw your entry on the 245 thread. Done nearly 21,000 miles in mine now since August 2017 and still makes me smile with pride every time I drive it. Absolutely wonderful car, steering is superb when you attack a roundabout. I have to go round 28 of them everyday on my commute.

It also had the little plastic lip on the rear wheel arch at the 2 o clock position ( looking at the wheel arch in the photo ). Only the 245 has this.

Yeah good point due to the unique wider rear track compared to the narrower 220/230.
