Boost pressure converter clicking

Hi

The boost pressure converter on our mk2 Skoda fabia is clicking constantly (both when idling and when driving).  Does this indicate I need to change the converter or something else? If it’s the converter is it just bolt off, bolt on or does it require any configuration or similar?
