Dashboard Speaker remove or disconnect

Has anyone with the Canton speaker system disconnected the centre dashboard speaker? I think it adds too much middle frequencies to the sound and narrows the stereo image. Is it possible to prize off the top grill to disconnect the speaker? Has anyone done this successfully? And will it cause any problems for the amp regarding total speaker impedance? Thanks.

I don’t have Canton, but I find setting SOUND FOCUS to DRIVER (from ALL AREAS, which is default) makes quite a difference in sound perception. At least from drivers seat;)

Hello, I am new to this forum. I recently bought a used Skoda octavia 2.0 tdi style plus variant(not sure if this variant is called such in other countries, I have attached a picture for reference). I had a complete inspection report from Skoda before buying and they had mentioned about the suspension strut cut and bushes damage as well. I want to change them now and most of them in my country is biased towards Sachs, but I don’t think they are good as it is very stiff and good for highway ride

Hi Just had one of my rear backplates/splash plates come off due to corrosion. Has anyone replaced these, wondering if it can be done without removing the hub. Looked online and it seems it has a smallish circle in the middle which makes me think the hub might need to come off. The one that came off has just rusted away. Anyone!

Hi, I own a Skoda Superb 3 – it was manufactured in last months of 2020 and it is 2021 model year. I see that everyone on the forum started the updates from at least 0278 software version and I have (I suspect because of first facelift batch) currently 0270 software and I want to update it to 0330. My device is 3V0035816E, hardware H22 and software 0270, Poland. I’ve found a “path” to 0324 form 0278 (0278 -> 0306 -> 0308 -> 0324) downloaded software for my device version:

Hi all! Recently got my Superb, and there is only one annoying software habit of the car. Every start begins with a question from the car, you can see it on the picture. It says “New settings are available for your profile. Would you like to apply them?” If I choose OK, then it would ruin something - deflate lumbar support, reset side mirror positions, or any random thing. If I choose “megszakítás” which is abort, everything stays normal. Does anybody have the same issue? Thanks a lot in adva
