Park/steer Assist error (VCDS)

Featured Replies

Been a busy few weeks, what with a repairing front coil springs, full DIY service, etc. Car is a 1.6 TDI Fabia (105PS).

Not sure if it's related, I changed the fuel filter today - and the damn thing wouldn't start. I wouldn't mind but, I topped up the filter with fresh diesel. As I was cranking it  - it sounded 3 warning chimes. This car has done it to me before. I cycled the ignition a few times, with the battery on charge (still connected) and then fired it up.

I used VCDS (should have used that in the first place) to prime the filter and the following code is there:

Any pointers for me to check please. I tried to clear the error - but it remains.

Is this a result of recoding anything? I lost my park  assist after coding something unrelated.

No coding. I posted the same question on the VCDS forum and someone suggested disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes, which is a good call. I've still to do that.
