Its smaller than Kona, which is already a tidgy thing...

I ask this a lot, somewhat rhetorically, WHY????? Why Do manufacturers keep on chucking out the same ever shrinking "crossover" box as every other manufacturer as a "new" car???

It’s a CVT auto unfortunately......oh well.

The Kia Stonic Autobox is very good (7 speed twin clutch with the 1.0l engine),

comfy, handles just fine, and is bigger than a Picanto, taller than a Rio, and about the same as a Venga,  and smaller than a Niro.

Choices are good because not everyone wants the same sizes of cars, or wants to spend the same.

Car reviewers that are pretty mobile and can get in or out any car no matter how low or high the seats or sills are keep talking about higher driving seating positions and seem to not understand it can be about just getting in and out easier, and drivers and passengers can be all sorts of height or widths,

and the seat height to the ground is important, and door opening, and how wide the door needs opened, and how long a door is,

and reaching for the seat belt etc.

Sill height to floor, no fancy sharp sill trims on the outside etc etc.

Ford are doing the whole 'Active' thing.  Just add plastic stuff like a bum skidder and roof rails.

But just FWD.  Eco tyres and nothing special to get you anyplace, or even back home.
