Hi All,

My name is Chris and I am new to the site. Found this site while I was researching my new car. Always wanted to own a Octavia vRS saloon/hatch and this year I decided that I needed one in my life. Found myself a great example, and fell in love with pretty much straight away. I have literally only owned it for 3 days and I am still finding things that it has in its spec that I didnt know.  So far so good.

Love the DSG box. My first ever auto so I havent got anything to compare it to. Not sure on what was standard on the vRS, so hopefully someone can let me know but my car has got a heated front windscreen, columbus head unit, parking sensors front, rear and side. Found out on the second day that it had park assist, not had chance to give it a go, but I presume it works lol. Push button start and only discovered on day 3 that it has keyless entry. From reading threads on this forum I hope I am right in saying this is what KESSY is. Full black leather interior with silver (would of liked the red ones as the brake calipers are red), heated front seats. Lane assist, which was a strange experience the first time. The colour is black magic pearlescent and it also has black alloys to match, best not kerb those.

3 Days in and its  already one the best cars I've owned. I am now fan. Hopefully I'll do some small mods to it, but for now am just going to enjoy it for what it is. Thanks everyone.

Hi Chris you have a very nice spec car there plenty of options ticked by the first owner. I suspect they didn't like the grey finish of the alloys and had them painted to match the bodywork. I also own a Black Magic hatch petrol with a manual gearbox.

A warm welcome to the Forum Chris !  Nice pics - nice wheels:thumbup:

Hello Chris welcome to briskoda , nice motor . B)

Welcome  The DSG is great and once you're used to it, there's no going back to manual!
