Servicing?

Featured Replies

Hello all!

Been a while since I last posted.

My Citigo is due its 3rd service, but I can't figure out what kind of service needs to be done. Handbook and service history from Skoda says the car had an "inspection service" at 1 year old, an "inspection and oil change" at 2 years, so what does it need for the 3rd service? Minor? Major? Tried looking in the handbook and Skoda website etc, not much use. I won't be servicing within the dealer network as the car is on PCP and I intend to VT very soon, so don't want to spend unnecessary money maintaining the "full dealer history" when I won't benefit from the premium that will command come resale time. I have already paid off more than 50% of the finance, so I'm able to VT any time after now, but unfortunately I left the VT notification too late to avoid having to pay out for the service and MOT that need to be done.

Thanks in advance for your information!

Just as 1st service.

Oil & Filter and look see, so Minor or Inspection if you want to call it that.

Interim.

You are not getting Spark Plugs changed, or air filter / Pollen-Cabin Filter replaced.

Do not pay for the Brake Fluid to be changed.

Pity it can not just be a Oil Service & MOT for £99 that Skoda Fixed Price @ Participating Dealers offer.  But that is 3-10 year old cars.

Maybe ask for that though.
