Ebay tale of woe ebay sucks alot

Featured Replies

I sold my modified audi A4 on Ebay.

the winning bidder had 0 feedback but it ****es me off when folks say no 0's or contact me first because you gotta start somewhere and we were all 0's on ebay at one point.

Anyways i sent him the invoice and 3 days later no reply so i phoned the number he supplied Ebay and its not recognised. Put his postcode into the royal mails adress finder and yep you guessed it its not a valid postcode.

the name hes given is Rodger Brown my pals wee bro tells me this is a spoof name like Eric shaun or Ben Dover. I must be getting old cos he had to explain it to me.

I'm very annoyed that Ebay have let someone register with foney details

and that as a result i have paid a substantial final value fee i might gert back in a couple of months.

Rant over and if Surfhondas bids on your items cancel the bid

Sorry to hear of your troubles - you will get your money back though, just an @rse in the short term... :(

if it makes you feel any better SWSBO sold her metro on ebay on sunday to a woman with feed back.

Again, no such person! Lost the sale plus alot of hassle. Good news is the car is now sold, but it went for

I must be unique having never had problems with a zero rated buyer yet - 400 transactions nearly now too.

I've had problems in the past with non receipt of goods bought and have never got my money back either!! :(
