Sky Q wifi thingy

Howdy,

Quick one... after i went exploring in our attic last year, i found the previous owners left a sky q wifi receiver thingy (the little black box with a LAN port and wps button, and bogall else)

Just wondering.. does anyone know if theres a way of "repurposing" said wifi receiver for anything else, or is it likely i should just chuck in the waste electrical recycling?

In my brain, i should be able to use it as a wifi receiver for my freesat box, but i havnt tried yet, as id need to get a multiplug adapter down the back of a book case first to plug it in... effort...
