Hi Folk ,

 

Sorry if this is a bit obvious I just get confused when buying parts listed as left or right side as I'm never sure if you're looking down the car from in front or behind ...I'm just wondering if the photo attached is for the passenger side of a right hand drive Octavia in the UK and does anyone know were I might find one cheaper ....

@labman1001 Yes it is bud, passenger side in your vehicle.

I do believe the sides of vehicle as given as if you are sat in the vehicle, hence listed as left. So it wouldn't matter if it was left or right hand drive vehicle, it would still fit the left hand side.

I understand your confusion tho.

You used to be able to source them cheaper but they are becoming difficult to find now, with the puddle lights.

I suspect so many folk have had to replace them, myself included, that stock is running low, Lol.

 Thank you Tilt ... Yes this passenger side one was replaced in July 2015 for the MOT before I purchased the car but I'd noticed recently it was filling with water .... I'd to replace the drivers side last July for the MOT and I'm sure it wasn't as dear as £30 odd
