Hello to everyone.

I have FL, 2012 and on my slip ring ,under steering wheel,flex cable has broke so I bought a new slip ring. The slip ring before was 5K0953569C and now is 5K0953569AL. I install it and I dont have any problem with horn or air bag. but... I dont have mfd anymore, I can see only range. Does this part needs to be reprogrammed or where is the problem? I have returned the old one just to check, and there mfd is just fine. Does someone know how to solve this problem? In VW center dont want to to anything because I didnt buy the part from them so I'm in not good position;) Thank you

The new item will probably need coding to the options on your car using VCDS or something similar.
