Lack of boost

Featured Replies

Can anyone help please I’ve just had a stage one remap on my Octavia 170 vrs , I now have a serious lack of boost low down. It needs to reach around 3000rpm for the turbo to spool up .

I'd suggest going straight back to the company that did the remap and get them to fix it rather than asking a fourm?

I have taken it back, they ran some tests and it shows a lack of boost , so just trying to narrow down the problem, actuator or turbo  problem.

Did the turbo spool up as it should before you had the remap carried out, if so then it's down to remap and the company should be solving the issue at no cost to you.

Yes worked fine before the remap, ended up putting the original file back on , but still not spooling up until 3000rpm .

All sorted now, problem turned out to be a split diaphragm in the actuator, runs like a dream now.
