Unbelievable :-(

Featured Replies

My new Golf GTI has done 135 miles.  In the last three miles I've picked up a bloody chunk out of my OSR alloy.  Haven't hit anything, no pot holes, never heard anything, uneventful journey (or so I thought):

I feel for you

My Roomster Scout had just 10 miles on the clock when I drove it from the showroom and attempted to reverse it up my drive.  Being unfamiliar with the car, I misjudged the position of the kerbstone and gouged the n/s/r wheel.  To add to my joy, my passenger then opened the door on to the wall 🤬

Stone chip. And that's the clear coat compromised, white worm ahead! 😞

Could do with a photo just remember to put a WARNING first before you look for anyone who feels squeamish regarding wheel damage.

Whoever owns those wheels should be sent to China lined up  against a wall and shot for crimes against alloy wheels, revolting where is the sick :wall:bucket?

All starts from one chip though... I f$%&ing hate diamond cut wheels

I'm going with meteorite impact 🤔

Can't cope with leaving it, so it'll get sorted soon enough.  I've got a spare Gemini from the vRS, which'll help fund it.

I picked up a stone chip right in my line of vision on my Vrs less than 2 weeks after picking up the car in August 2017. Still there now will have to fix before the first MOT due in August 2020 LOL.
