Hi, my mk3 66 reg superb sel exec has been flashing tyre pressure light on every few weeks but pressure is fine

i got it rechecked yesterday and tyre guy tells me I’ve a hairline crack on rim, anybody have access to 18” Pegasus rim

Is there sign of accidental damage or can this be a manufacturing / materials issue so covered by Manufacturers Warranty?

Would love to know the result ... my Superb 3 suffered for 4months one winter with stray pressure alerts ... swapped tyres and valves ... issue followed the rim to another side ... and I was thinking hairline crack too - on the advice of a mate jetwashed the wheels from behind/under the body and everything was good again (2 years ago now).

If the tyre pressure isn't going down, then there's no leak. Did he point out exactly where the hairline crack is as it sounds like he was just guessing.
